Curator’s Choice at the Hunt Museum March 2016 and Artist Conversation Series on the 16th March at 11.00 a.m.

For the month of March I am pleased to be exhibiting at The Hunt Museum. Limerick, as part of the Curator’s Choice.  The painting on exhibition is ‘Days like these’, an oil on canvas.  This painting attempts to capture some of the 1950’s atmosphere that I like, but the strong colour wash then aims to give it an uneasy and slightly brash feel.    This uneasiness or incongruity is something that I strive for in my work.

Alongside the exhibition, as part of the Artist Conversation Series, I will give a talk on Wednesday 16^th March at 11.00 in the Hunt Café  about my art practice.  This is a very informal gathering and everyone is welcome to come along.
